Top 10 natural ways to fight hair loss

Top 10 natural ways to fight hair loss
I have been facing hair loss or male pattern alopecia for some time now and after trying all kind of medications (which hasn’t helped me much), I have decided to go the natural way and in this article I would like to share top 10 natural ways of keeping the hair healthy and preventing hair loss.
  1. First and the most important point is your diet. Lack of proteins and vitamins is one of the major causes for hair loss. So if you want to prevent hair loss than you need to take proper care of your diet. Avoid junk food and add plenty of green leafy vegetables in your diet. Proper vitamins and mineral supplements help a long way in preventing hair loss.
  2. Secondly avoid using harmful chemicals on your hair.  All those hair gels, hair cream, anti dandruff shampoos, etc doesn’t do your hair any good. Instead they cause permanent damage to your hair. So for a healthy hair avoiding using these products, use a mild and if possible herbal based shampoo.
  3. Don’t use hot water to wash your hair. Hot water takes away the protein oil from your hair and leaves it rough, dry and damaged.
  4. Using ginger juice can also help control hair loss. It is believed that using ginger juice regularly on your scalp can stimulate hair growth. Having used it for few months I can guarantee that it prevents hair loss (but haven’t experience any kind of hair re growth so far). Apply ginger juice over the scalp and massage it gently, lave it for over 10-15 minutes and wash off thoroughly with water. Use shampoo only if required.
  5. Use Almond or coconut hair oil to nourish your hair. Almond oil and coconut oil both provides the hair nutrition and protein to strengthen the hair roots and make it strong and healthy.
  6. Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight; use a cap if required during long outings.
  7. Comb your hair regularly, if possible avoid plastic comb. Avoid combing when your hair is wet as it damages your hair and makes it much more brittle.
  8. Drink plenty of fresh water. Drinking water keeps your whole body healthy and rejuvenated, so a healthy body means health hair.
  9. Massage your scalp at least 2-3 times a week. A proper massage facilitates proper circulation of blood which ultimately prevents hair loss.
  10. Don’t use blower’s and hair driers to dry your hair. Using driers makes the hair dry, rough and brittle.
