Side effects of betamethasone /Diprogenta Cream

Diprogenta Cream contains Betamethasone dipropionate and gentamicin sulfate and falls in the family of potent (group III) corticosteroids. Diprogenta Cream in combination of antibiotics is used for treatment of dermatological diseases.

Application- Apply Diprogenta Cream on the affected area two to three times a day. Leave a thin coat of Diprogenta Cream. Generally application of Diprogenta Cream depends on the condition of the skin infection, some patients can achieve good result with less frequent use of Diprogenta Cream.

Indications- Diprogenta Cream is used for relief from skin allergies, skin inflammation, and manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dematoses caused by organisms vulnerable to gentamicin.

Side effects of betamethasone /Diprogenta Cream

Some patients may have adverse reaction to the cream; some common side effects of using Diprogenta Cream are skin reaction, itching, skin dryness, infection of the skin, hypo-pigmentation, burning sensation of the skin and skin atrophy. Patients allergic to Betamethasone dipropionate and gentamicin sulfate should avoid the use of Diprogenta Cream. In some patients severe pain and complications in the infection as experienced after the administration of Diprogenta Cream. Blistered were formed in patients treated with Diprogenta Cream for treating arthropod bite.
Diprogenta Cream is not marketed in the USA but betamethasone contains all the active ingredients of Diprogenta Cream.
