A very popular over the counter drug for treatment of severe headache, Saridon tablet is formulated with the composition 260 mg of paracetamol, 135 mg of propyphenazone, and 55 mg of caffeine. It is an analgesic combination for effective and fast management of headache.

Besides management of head the over the counter drug is also administered for management of fever, abdominal pain suffered during menstrual cycle, pain associate with rheumatic, dental problems along with management of cold and flu. Besides, the above mentioned conditions Saridon Tablets may as well be used for treatment and management of ailments not mentioned in the list above.

Saridon Side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness and minor GI problems are some common adverse reactions associated with the administration of Saridon tablets. So it is advisable to avoid the usage of the drug if you are working with heavy machinery, planning of travelling after administration of the OTC drug or performing works requiring high level of mental alertness.

Avoid using saridon Tablets in case you are allergic to any of the active ingredients such as Caffeine, paracetamol or propyphenazone. In case of any allergic reactions on using the drug, stop its administration immediately and rush for emergency help. Allergy symptoms include swelling of the lips, throat, mouth or tongue, redness of skin and /or respiratory problems.

Though Saridon tablets are pretty efficient it is advisable to avoid regular use of the over the counter drug as it contains paracetamol and regular use can cause permanent damage to the kidney and liver. Also being a strong analgesic combination it actually isn’t reducing the pain but luring you to sleep thereby providing relief from the pain, so avoid OTC drugs as much as possible and use Saridon or other over the counter medicines when the situation gets absolutely unbearable.
