Nephrolithiasis or Kidney stone is a condition when calcium present in the body accumulates to form stone shaped substances inside the kidney. Small stones normally doesn’t require medication or laser treatment and can be washed off via the urine by drinking plenty of water on the other hand stone beyond 5 mm in diameter may require prescribed medication or laser treatment for fragmenting it into tiny particles which can be washed off via the urine.

Kidney stone or nephrolithiasis doesn’t hurt regularly but sometimes it is so painful that you hardly can manage to breathe so drinking plenty of water regularly is the best method to keep away the pain associated with nephrolithiasis.

I have been suffering from kidney stone for a long period of time and just recently while watching a movie I got a sudden stroke of pain around my abdomen and I knew it was the painful attack associated with nephrolithiasis, it was hurting so much I immediately rushed to a doctor who gave a dose Voveran SR injection and asked me to conduct an ultrasound test the next day. The Voveran Sr injection helped me kill the pain and the next morning when I woke up I went for the ultrasound test and the confirmed renal stone around 8 mm in diameter and he prescribed me Acalka Potassium Citrate tablets along with strict instructions to drink plenty of water.

So from the last 2-3 weeks I have been using Acalka Potassium Citrate tablets after my meal and drinking 4-5 liters of water daily and so far the results have been pretty good. I haven’t suffered any strokes of pain associated with renal stone or Nephrolithiasis and there have been no side effects as such. Yes I times it hurts while urinating which may be stone passing away through the urine so all in all Acalka Potassium Citrate tablets have had a positive effecting in treating renal stone and is a highly prescribed medicine for the treatment of Nephrolithiasis or Kidney stone by doctors in Siliguri.
