Last month was a real bad month for me, I was admitted in the hospital for a severe back ache and I had other problems besides the intolerable back pain. I was kept on liquid diet for 2 days and when I started taking normal food I suffered from constipation which really made situation worse.

I informed my doctor who prescribed me Fostitol Syrup to be taken at bedtime after my meal. I had to use it regularly for 3 days before finally it started showing its effect. Fostitol Syrup has a sweet taste so it isn’t so hard to administer but yah it is a touch expensive for a 100 ml bottle costs over 3 dollars which is pretty much expensive to use regularly.

Fostitol Syrup can be administered normally with other drugs as I have been taking plenty of drugs for my back pain and so far I haven’t suffered from any side effects as such so can say Fostitol Syrup is pretty safe and effective drug for treatment of constipation and other stomach discomfort.

Precautions

·         In case of any allergic reactions on using Fostitol Syrup, stop its administration immediately and consult your doctor.

·         Avoid using it for more than the recommended period, in case the medicine isn’t effective in treating the problem; consult your doctor before further continuation of the drug.

·         In case of pregnancy or lactation, it would be safe to use Fostitol Syrup only on the recommendation of your doctor.
