Flanax Forte (Naproxen)

Flanax Forte (Naproxen)

My grandmother was a patient of Ankylosing spondylitis and this is how I came to know about Flanax Forte (active ingredient- Naproxen). Due to severity of the disease, my grandmother use to get frequent pain attacks which sometimes results in swelling as well so the doctor prescribed Flanax Forte to be used mostly when the pain and swelling occurred (linked to Ankylosing spondylitis).

The doctor was very precise in stating that the drug ought to be used only when absolutely necessary as it was subject to plenty of side effects which could even prove lethal for someone of my grandmother’s age. Some of the side effects associated to Flanax Forte or Naproxen are discussed in details below.

Flanax Forte (Naproxen) side effects

Though effective Flanax Forte isn’t a drug to be used frequently as it has got plenty of side effects. Starting with drowsiness, giddiness, abdominal pain, etc. excessive use may as well cause heart attacks (as informed by the doctor). So it would be safe to use the drug only when absolutely necessary. In all case try and avoid the use of the drug as far as possible.

My grandmother also complained of allergic reactions once after using the drug, which resulted in swelling and irritation of the skin. So if anyone is allergic to any of the active ingredient present in the drug, it would be wise not to use it and if  there is any form of allergic reaction after the use of the drug, rush for emergency medical help.

Other side effects often experienced by my grandmother on using Flanax Forte are a heavy abdominal pain. Actually it wasn’t really abdominal pain but some kind of discomfort, like when you feel constipated, so this was one problem my grandmother often complained after using Naproxen.

So all these side effects associated with Flanax Forte makes it a drug with high degree of risk linked and therefore should be used only under the supervision of your doctor.
