Eno Fruit salt is a very popular antacid which provides instant relief from gas and acidity. Available over the counter it is the first thing that comes in mind whenever any individual suffers from gas or acidity. It is available in plenty of flavors but my personal favorite is Eno regular as the other flavors leave a peculiar taste which I really don’t enjoy.

The reason why Eno Fruit salt is popular is because it is easily available (even in grocery shops), provides instant relief from gas and acidity on most occasions but the most important is it doesn’t have any side effects. Most OTC drugs are subject to side effects but Eno Fruit salt is something which has no side effect and almost any patient from almost all age group (above 3 years) can benefit from the use of Eno Fruit salt without worrying about the adverse reactions.

Besides Eno Fruit salt is also cheap and cost about 10 cents for a packet which is a fair price for such an effective an efficient OTC aid for fighting acidity and gas. Almost everyone in our family uses Eno Fruit Salt thus we always keep a ready stock just in case we need it anytime, after all we are a traditional Indian family feasting very often on hot and spicy foods, so it is most likely to suffer from acidity and gas anytime.
