There are many OTC drugs available for fighting symptoms of cold and cough but I haven’t found anything better than Bioflu tablets. It was last week when the temperature went below 4 degree and everything was really cold. Really was freezing cold and on top I was suffering from running nose, headache and fever. It was a nightmare for me and I was in no position to visit a doctor either. I asked my younger brother to consult a pharmacist and bring home a medicine. He did as was asked and brought Bioflu tablets for me.

I was advised to use the drug twice a day after meal and I religiously followed the instruction. I took some light food and administered a Bioflu tablet. Since it was very cold I was in bed for almost the whole day and the good think about the OTC drug was it made me a little drowsy which actually helped me catch some sleep after many days. Actually it was a peaceful slumber and I woke up only after about 3-4 hours.  I again took some light food and tried sleeping but this time it was hard. In the evening I repeated the dose and again the medicine took effect and within few minutes I was fast sleeping.

I continued using Bioflu tablets for 3 days and life was back to normal after that. Besides treating symptoms of cold, it also is good for treating minor headache, fever and minor body aches.

Bioflu side effects

Besides drowsiness I didn’t feel any major side effect occur and in my opinion it is a pretty safe drug to administer when down with cough and cold. After all who doesn’t like catching some proper sleep when you haven’t slept well for many days all because of the stuffed and runny nose.
