Airtel customer support system

Sorry to say but the Airtel customer support system is as bad as it can. It's one of my most horrible experience and i simply don't feel like using the service any more. They are just a bunch of inefficient people who don't know what they are dealing with.

on 29the of November i recharged with a 999 e-charge recharge for using the internet service on my phone. Normally it takes two days to get activated so i had to wait for that period. Actually I had some work so did not pay any attention on whether it was activated or not. To my horror when i tried connecting it after 4 days it was still not active. i instantly called the customer care department and registered my complain.They replied that due to some technical problem it could not be activated and i will have to wait for 2 days again. i was very angry on hearing this and just told that i already waited long enough. So finally they gave me a 24 hours deadline. i had no better options but to wait.

So after 24 hours when i again tried logging in i failed. Again I called them and asked what happened to my 24 hours deadline. Was really shocked at what the told me they again asked me to wait for some 24 hours again. i was furious and asked my call to be transferred to the their senior which they did after some furious shouting . I asked her what was going around and why was my problem not solved. She told me that she will look into the problem personally and will activate it in 24 hours. So again gave here the 24 hours time .


This thing went on for 8-10 days when finally i just stormed in to the Airtel office in siliguri and got my problem solved.
