Vodaphone In Bihar

I am Internet freak and Need to stay connected at least sixteen hours a day or more as I make a living out of it. Went back to my village a very remote area in Bihar were we don’t have a proper roads constructed. So finding a internet service wasn’t very easy. Thought of taking the Service of Bsnl but was told that the phone line stays dead for most part of the day and works only for a hour or two in a day. So I had to drop the plan and think about something else.

One of my friends suggested for using the Vodaphone Dial up service ( wireless off course) provided via the mobile phone. As We have no other connection had to opt for it. The first day I just activated the connection which is free to do and started using it and to my surprise they deducted some hefty money from my account for just 30 minutes of surfing. I was baffled and just could not digest such heavy deduction (approx 1 $).

I Just called the customer care and asked for a explanation and they asked to switch over to unlimited surfing plan for some 14 $ plus some charges for downloading. I was more then happy to switch over as A 1 $ for 30 minutes was nothing acceptable.

Right now I am using the same plan for my surfing needs and I am more then happy with the service. The speed a touch slow but it’s better then having nothing. The customer service is prompt and solves any related problem very quickly. I am enjoying my stay at my village and working normally with out any problem.
