Airtel internet connection

I dwell in a very small place and we don't have any kind of broadband or internet service at our place. The only mode of connecting to the web world is via the internet provided by various cellular companies. Basically we have dominance of Videophone and Airtel as far as network accessibility is concerned so had to opt for one of them.

I opted for airtel and connected it via A nokia 6300 USB modem and i am pretty much satisfied with the service provided by the company. It’s not as fast as the broadband i use to access at the metro cities but it's equally good and I just about do the same amount of work I once did without much of a problem. The downloading speed is not at it's very best and just offers about 5- 10 k bps per second but as far as surfing is concerned it's quite good and doesn't take long to load the slowest of pages.

The speed basically depends on the network accessibility and it's at it's best when the network is at it optimum.

It's just an alternative not a solution to my Internet needs but I am satisfied with the service provided by the company .A bit better speed and it could just solve most of the problems and will not need to search for a touch better downloading speed.
