Our house maid is a tuberculosis patient and she had been undertaking medicines regularly till November after which her doctor declared her fit. So she no longer required administering the drugs for fighting tuberculosis.

Few days back she caught cough, cold and was suffering from high fever. We immediately consulted her doctor who prescribed Viscodyne Syrup along with Zincovit. According to the prescription Viscodyne syrup was for fighting cough and cold whereas Zincovit Syrup was a multivitamin for boosting the immune system. 

Our maid had been sleeping for 3-4 days continuously and we were pretty worried but as she started using Zincovit and Viscodyne syrup she started feeling better. In fact from the very next day she started doing small household chores. We didn’t allow her to do any heavy work but she would do small task. In the mean while she continued using the multivitamin syrup along with the cough medicines and in about a week’s time she was fit as fiddle. Now she has stopped using Viscodyne syrup but she is still administering Zincovit Syrup as it is just a multivitamin supplement with great health benefits.

Thanks to some great prescription she is back to normal and thank god it was not the dreaded tuberculosis returning.

Another notable feature about Zincovit Syrup is its price, comparatively Zincovit Syrup is much cheaper to other multivitamin syrup but it is far more efficient, so, Zincovit Syrup surely is cost efficient as well as effective. Zincovit Syrup being a multivitamin is available over the counter but it would be advisable to use it after consulting your doctor, just to avoid any complications.

Few days back I suffered from loose motions and it was simply uncontrollable, every few minutes I was visiting the washroom and so I had to call my pharmacist uncle for the right prescription. He prescribed me to use Ornof tablets twice a day and see if there is any change.

I went to a nearby pharmacy and got the medicine and took it immediately. I visited the washroom immediately after and for 2-3 more times before the drug started taking effect. Honestly I didn’t have to take the medicine for the second time, just one dose of Ornof tablets and I was almost back to normal. So Ornof is just the perfect medication for diarrhea as well as irritated bowel syndrome.

AS per the pricing, it surely is expensive but I would prefer taking a single dose of expensive Ornof tablets rather then taking ordinary cheap but ineffective medicines and visiting the washroom frequently.

And, yes, Ornof tablets are available over the counter and are pretty safe with not much of side effects. In fact, I didn’t feel any kind of side effects on using Ornof tablets, may because I used it just for a single dose.

Ornof tablets surely are the best medicine I have ever used for diarrhea and I have already added it to my first aid box .

Patients may suffer from various allergic reactions on using the drug, stop administration immediately in case any hypersensitivity occurs. Symptoms include rashes, reddening of the skin, hives and facial swelling. Consult your doctor in case any such symptoms occur.

This winter everyone bin our household seem to get sick and my mother who is a diabetes patient was no exception. She had traveled down to Siliguri and when she came back home after a week she immediately caught cough and cold. It was just feeling terrible with that dreaded coughing all night so we consulted our family doctor who prescribed Alex Cough syrup (sugar free as she is a diabetes patient).

Alex Cough syrup is pretty effective in surpassing cough and controlling cold. The night she started using the cough syrup, she slept peacefully with very little disturbance. It was good to see her sleeping peacefully as for the last two days it had just been impossible for her to catch some sleep.

Another good think about the cough syrup was it didn’t make you feel sleepy which has been the disadvantage of most cough medications. Besides, Alex Cough syrup is available sugar free so can be used without any great concern even by a diabetic patient.

Yes, it took about 2 weeks to get rid of her cough completely which is pretty slow but Alex Cough syrup works slowly clearing the symptoms from deep inside and cleaning it from the root. Alex Cough syrup being non sedative is readily available over the counter but you should consult your doctor before using it as it works only for certain cough conditions.

These days whenever my mother suffers from gentle cough she just consults her doctor on phone and normally uses Alex Cough syrup for prompt recovery from the symptoms.

Acne problems have always been pestering me and every now and then I developed these painful swelling or inflammation on my face. Besides being painful acne spoiled the look of the face and thus it was simply getting very annoying. I had visited plenty of skin specialists but none of the prescription seems to work until I hit Fucicort Topical cream.

A local pharmacist recommended using the cream for clearing acne and as it was easily available over the counter I honestly thought of trying it and check its result. For the first week since I started using Fucicort cream I didn’t find much of a difference and was a little dejected as I thought it was just another cream but since I had already bought it and thought of using it continuously for another week or so.

After the second week I started seeing some kind of positive results on the acne. Actually I had plenty of acne on my face but after about two weeks of using Fucicort antibiotic cream, it was reduced to more than half and the best part was that it didn’t leave any scar. I had the habit of bursting open the acne but during the period of using Fucicort cream I tried and succeeded in staying away from touching the acne and thereby when the cream finally showing effect I had a pretty clear skin, free of all acne or acne scars.

Disflatyl is a very handy OTC medicine for acidity and gastric problem. Recently had visited the city Patna by road and on the way we had plenty of junk foods, so on reaching the town I was troubled by acidity and had to rush to a nearby pharmacy to buy and OTC medicine for gastric. I couldn’t catch up with the regular over the counter medications I normally used so had to go for disflatyl tablets. I wasn’t very sure but the pharmacist assured me of quick relief on using disflatyl tablets. So I hurriedly paid for the medication and gobbled two pills (as recommended) of disflatyl right away. 

AS recommended by the pharmacist, disflatyl started working quickly and within 15 to 20 minutes I was feeling much better. It was really a great feeling as you know how uncomfortable it can be with feeling of fullness and acidity. Another important thing I noticed on using disflatyl was that it didn’t have any side effects. Unlike other OTC medicines which normally cause drowsiness, disflatyl tablets didn’t have any such effects; actually I didn’t feel any kind of interaction besides the prompt effect of treating acidity.

Disflatyl (Dimethicone) tablets indeed are safe and actively treat acidity in matter of minutes. We stayed in Patna for 3 days and every day we had parties which eventually caused acidity but thanks to Disflatyl (Dimethicone), it wasn’t a cause of major issue.
