Orofer XT  (Ferrous Ascorbate Drop)

Orofer XT is a Ferrous Ascorbate Drop prescribed generally in children suffering from iron deficiency. Our 3 year old niece if very fussy about her diet, she just doesn’t like eating anything and day by day she was losing weight. WE were getting worried so we consulted a child specialist who prescribed her Orofer XT   to be used twice a day for two months. 

We bought the medication but it was very hard to get her take the medicine every day, don’t know the taste but she would run away or create lots of scheme whenever we tried feeding her Orofer XT drop. With plenty of effort we finally managed to get her administering Ferrous Ascorbate Drop and after about a month of use we could see visible changes in her weight as well as eating habits. These days she no longer is picky about her food, eats food and she seems to be hungry more often. Moreover she also has put on some weight which surely is a positive sign.

Though after just a month’s use her health and eating habit improved, we didn’t stop administering Orofer XT mid way. We continued using Ferrous Ascorbate Drop for two months after which we consulted the doctor who conducted some tests and informed us that she was back to normal and we could stop using the drug but advised to feed her proper diet with proper nutritional foods. 

These days she never has any issues eating healthy and nutritious food and she seems to be gaining weight regularly thanks to Ferrous Ascorbate Drop or Orofer XT .
