Nasivion Nasal Drop vs. Vick’s VapoRub

Nasivion Nasal Drop vs. Vick’s VapoRub

With catchy advertisement Nasivion Nasal Drop was able to leave a lasting impression on my mind and this winter when I was down with cold and suffering from blocked nose, the first thing that came to my mind was Nasivion Nasal Drop. They are available over the counter and so went to a nearby pharmacy and bought a small tube of the product.

Yes Nasivion Nasal Drop does help in temporary relief of blocked nose but I wouldn’t like using it in the long run. The medicine won’t help in curing cold or cough and it just provides momentary relief which can be handy at times like before an important presentation and all but in it is no good for completely getting rid of cough and cold.

Comparing it with Vick’s VapoRub , I personally felt Vick’s VapoRub is a better choice because both does the same work but the latter is cost effective. So why waste money on an expensive product when a cheaper product is equally as efficient. Another important thing is the ease of use, comparatively Vick’s VapoRub is much easier to use than Nasivion Nasal Drop. Nasivion comes in a squeeze type bottle whereas Vick’s VapoRub is the easy and convenient snuff which can be carried around conveniently in your pocket.

So though pretty effective I would prefer the latter over the former as no one likes paying extra for a product which has a similar effect. Yes, if the use of Nasivion Nasal Drop had assisted in getting rid of cold than it surely would have been worth the price paid but right now my vote goes for Vick’s VapoRub as I have been using it since ages and I know it is effective and worth the price paid.
