The apparatus is enclosed in a steel body with the mercury riser , the strap and the pump save inside it , so there is very less chance of the device getting spoiled or mishandled and since it is quite portable in size it can just be kept anywhere safely.

The sphygmomanometer helps not just my mother in monitoring her pressure level but also is used by the whole family members to keep in check the pressure level as it is one of the root cause of all the dangerous disease. As the saying goes “ Prevention is better than cure “ ,so keeping a watch on this dangerous disease might just help in staying fit and healthy.

Physically the device doesn’t look very appealing but who really cares as long as it helps us fight a very deadly disease .
